AUTISM INFORMATION AND RESOURCES
HOW TO AUTISM
How to Autism is an oxymoron. When you have met one autistic person, you have met one autistic person. There are many different interventions and beliefs on how to treat autism.
My mission is to bring comprehensive and evidence-based information and resources to caregivers and students of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Also, my hope is to help parents and caregivers to get a little bit closer to accepting autism diagnosis.

ABOUT ME
Hello & Welcome!
I’m Sharon Allen. I am a mother of 2 autistic kids and a BCBA. I created this site with parents and students in mind.

As a parent, when we got the diagnosis of autism a decade ago, I had no idea even where to start. There was an overwhelming amount of information, but there was a lack of direction with evidence and science-based practices. When I was a student, I felt like there was also a lack of resources that could explain some of the concepts in a way that I learn, visually and through practice. Finally, as a BCBA, I feel like there is a serious lack of educational materials for parents created by professionals.
